Acne Cream – Clear Your Face Up
Acne cream is used as a solution to acne. The effectiveness of this kind of treatment is dependent entirely on the ingredient of the cream. It is sometimes used as a method of delivery for chemicals that are intended to treat or cure acne.
Acne is not a life threatening condition by any means, but it does cause stress to the sufferer. It is an obvious condition that is difficult to hide from the outside world. It is an inflammation of the skin in a centralized location.
The most potent of treatments is a prescription strength acne cream that is applied topically to the affected area. A prescription strength can be obtained by a visit to the dermatologist who will assess the situation and if it is warranted will prescribe it.
Prescription strength has its share of side effects so the dermatologist may want to take some other steps before prescribing it. The potential side effects of the prescription strength creams can cause damage to the skin, by drying it out; there are also high risk of allergic reaction to the product as well.
There are some good over the counter options. The over the counter cream usually has the same ingredients as the prescription strength variety but in lesser quantities. Typically for a mild breakout that is infrequent the over the counter options will sufficiently get the problem under control.
There are some side effects associated with the over the counter options, there is always the chance of allergies and there is also the chance of the condition worsening from the product. Over the counter cream is a lot less expensive than prescription strength, plus the additional cost of the doctor’s visit that has to be paid to get the prescription strength acne cream. Over the counter creams can be purchased at any pharmacy or discount warehouse store.
There are lots of acne removal products on store shelves today. Choosing the right acne cream for your skin may not be as easy as you would like.
