Fighting Cancer
Everyday I hear of people who are in end stages of their fight with cancer. They are losing and will soon lose. It saddens me greatly because I know you can win the battle but so many people will never know that they can because they rely on modern medicine and their conventional care doctors to tell them that their only chance lies with chemotherapy and radiation. Neither chemotherapy nor radiation cure cancer however, but rather attack the body’s immune system and the good cells in the body as well as the cancer cells.
Many cancer patients are ill at ease to second guess their oncologists and to start thinking for themselves because they assume their doctor knows more than they do and this is for a good reason since their doctors have studied in medical school and base their knowledge on medical studies published in peer-reviewed journals. However, cancer patients should question whether their doctor really does know best and should begin to look for alternative cures themselves. They should do this because: 1) The studies that doctors base their thinking on are influenced often by what is going to make a Pharmaceutical company money, 2) It is hard for scientists to get funding to study cures that won’t result in gain for some company, 3) Pharmaceutical companies are often advising oncologists about treatment options based on what is going to make them money, and 4) medical schools are reluctant to teach any cure that is based on personal testimony rather than a scientific study.
There is an alternative to medical studies however. Patients can learn about alternative treatments for cancer by learning of personal testimonies of people who have been cured of cancer. Personal testimony is also a legitimate type of evidence especially if it is supported by the personal testimony of many people. We should not reject personal testimony as evidence just because it is not based in a controlled experiment. If there are many people claiming that an alternative has cured them, that is like an informal study. We already know the control group: it is made up of all the people who are taking chemotherapy and radiation and are still dying.
The cancer cure that is most widely discussed on the internet is the Budwig Diet. I am very sad that Steve Jobs did not find this cure before he died. This cure takes only 6 weeks and it is very inexpensive. It is said to cure 90% of the people who follow it. That means the cancer disappears. The best site for information about the Budwig Diet is the Budwig Center (http://www.budwigcenter.com/). This website gives hundreds of personal testimonies of patients who have fought cancer effectively with this diet. The diet is easy: you only need to mix flax seed oil and cottage cheese or kefir. I mix the two together along with cinnamon and a Stevia and drink it in the morning. Flax seed oil is an omega 3 and is an oil that cells need to thrive and fight cancer. The kefir gives the oil conduit into the cells. This is very cheap. I take this concoction daily to prevent cancer and it only costs about $25 every two weeks. Not only does it taste delicious but it makes me feel good and I know it is supporting my immune function.
The next alternative that holds the most promise for beating cancer is Transfer Point’s Beta 1.3D Glucan. Their website is (http://www.budwigcenter.com/) and the product can be bought directly from them. They do not claim that it cures cancer since to do so would put them in direct conflict with the FDA, but they have a host of studies to prove that the product supports immune function and a strong immune system can defeat cancer. This is not a costly cure. The one month supply will run you $40. I take this as a prevention for cancer and to support my immune system so that I stay healthy. If I were fighting cancer I would take both of these products and eat healthy food and I think I would have the best strategy for winning the fight against cancer.
