Unattended stress is highly damaging to the function of a body and it also affects the appetite, which typically adds to malnutrition. When a body is not fed and continues to burn nutrients, when it runs out of what is provided, it takes nutrients from vital organs inside the body that meant for their healthy function. This results in the organs not being able to function properly. It is inevitably a domino effect.
