There are different type of genital warts. Some are very visible, while others can not be seen. They usually look like small cysts or look like regular warts. These warts can be removed but once you have contracted this std it will stay with you for life. The virus will stay in your body. Scabies are sometimes mistaken for genital warts, as they look like little genital warts but they differ as they cause other sores on your body.
